WASHINGTON, Oct 22: A FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) special agent, who captured Mir Aimal Kansi from Pakistan, has revealed that Kansi resisted arrest but was floored, cuffed behind his back, gagged and hooded with the help of unidentified foreign helpers, and held for two days in a foreign government’s detention centre before being taken to the United States.Kansi is on trial in America on charges of killing two CIA agents.

Although the identity of the foreign helpers was not revealed by J Garrett, they are believed to be Pakistani security agents. Similarly, the government in control of the detention facility is believed to be the Pakistan government, which has been severely criticised for turning over Kansi, now being called Kasi by the court, to the FBI without extraditing him.

The cooperation given by the Pakistani government in violation of its own laws.

Garrett’s revelation that when the FBI seized the accused gunman, it turned him over to "foreign authorities" for two days, directly contradicts earlier reports that the capture was an entirely American operation.
