JAMSHEDPUR, February 8: Seven times senior national champion PT Karasu of Services Selection Control Board made a new national record lifting 307.5 kg in the 94 kg category of the 50thÿmen's Senior National Weightlifting Championship at the JRD Tata Sports Complex here today.Karasu lifted 137.5 kg in snatch and 170 kg in clean and jerk to set up his eighth national mark .Umesh Singh of Madhya Pradesh secured the second position Shamsher Khan of Railways was placed third lifting 295 kg.
