NEW DELHI, NOV 6: Singing queen Lata Mangeshkar and eminent cartoonist R K Laxman figure in a list of twenty Indians, headed by Father Of The Nation Mahatma Gandhi, who shaped the country during the twentieth century.

Mother Teresa is the only foreign-born Indian, while cricket coach and former captain Kapil Dev the post-1947 born Indian who figure in the list drawn up by a four-member jury of the Outlook magazine for its millennium issue.
