Having prepared well to face the awesome Pakistan pace battery, stylish Indian batsman V V S Laxman was today confident of continuing his sparkling form from Australia in the coming series.

“I have prepared myself to face the Pakistan bowling with confidence. I have watched video recordings of Pakistani bowlers in action in New Zealand and South Africa,” Laxman told reporters here.

“I have gained a lot of confidence through my performance. I will continue my form in Pakistan.

“Australia was a world class team and we played well against them, but Pakistan is another team,” he said.

Praising the Pakistani pacers, Laxman said they were “world class bowlers” with “raw pace” and expected them to bowl well on their turf, but “I have my own way of countering them.”

The Hyderabad batsman said all 15 members of the Indian team would have to contribute their best in Pakistan to emerge with flying colours.

To a query Laxman said coach John Wright and newly-appointed bowling consultant Kapil Dev were doing a “good job.”
