Left only ‘paper tigers’ with UPA, says Jaitley

The BJP on Wednesday slammed the Left for indulging in mere “mock fights” with the UPA after creating “enormous hype” on important issues.

“There is a question mark on the credibility of the Left parties. They do not do what they say, neither have they any intention to do so,” BJP spokesman Arun Jaitley said, a day after the Left expressed satisfaction at the handling of the North-east situation after raising a furore.

Referring to CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury’s statement that the Left would “not only bark but also bite”, Jaitley said: “They are paper tigers who can neither bark nor bite. They can only indulge in mock fights.”
