HYDERABAD, NOV 15: Even as investigations are on to track down culprits involved in killing and skinning of the tigress Sakhi in the Nehru Zoological Park here, another report of skinning of a leopard in Adilabad district in Andhra Pradesh came to light today.

The carcass of a leopard was found near Pothareddypalli village on the Andhra Pradesh-Maharashtra border yesterday, a forest range officer said.

It seems some assailants killed the leopard three days ago and removed its skin and nails, he said adding that field investigation was being done by the forest department.

Divisional Forest Officer, Adilabad, had already left for the spot to get first hand information, a spokesman of the District Forest Department said without giving any other details when contacted on phone.
