
PUNE, Nov 22: The LIC Housing Finance Ltd (LICHFL) has announced three new schemes, the Apna Chikitsalaya, to provide loans for nursing homes, the Sampurna Griha, (A) for loans for consumer durables to fresh applicants, and the Sampurna Griha (B) for loans for consumer durables to existing borrowers.
Available at selected centres, the Apna Chikitsalaya provides a loan for 5-7 years, to finance medical practitioners for the purchase, construction, repairs, renovations, extension of nursing homes, clinics, or diagnostic centres. A firm or a private limited company owned by medical practitioners are also eligible to apply.
The Sampuran Graha (A) scheme is meant for fresh borrowers of housing loans wherein for determining the quantum of housing loan, expenses on furniture, fixtures and household goods are taken into account.
The Sampurna Graha (B) scheme loans are available for existing borrowers at selected centres, for the purchase of new household items. The term of the loan is three years, and any existing loanee (with three years seasoning) with a regular payment track record, provided the housing loan sanctioned is minimum Rs 2 lakh, with a minimum unexpired term of three years, is eligible.
