Mumbai giants and Federation Cup champions, Mahindra United go international next month as they will be taking part in the Maldives President Cup Invitation International Football Championship as the official entry from India.

This will be the first-ever outing at an international level for the jeepmen, according to manager Henry Menezes. ‘‘We are very excited to go abroad for the first time to showcase our talent,’’ he told The Indian Express on Monday.

The AIFF secretary Alberto Colaco while confirming the Mumbai club’s entry said
