PANAJI, March 28: The Margao police have arrested Francis Thomas D’Souza, a resident of Mumbai, and his accomplice Bamidalle M alias Johnny, a Nigerian, on charges of raping a British tourist. The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday after an evening’s party at a popular tourist hangout on Baga beach. Though police officials refused to divulge details about the incident, they noted that while one of the women was raped by the men, the other was spared.
