In an incident that says much for cricket administration in India, a man with a .38 revolver was arrested from the Green Park stands this morning. The man, Taslimuddin Pasha, is the son of Nayeemuddin Siddique, president of the Kanpur Cricket Association. Pasha, seated just behind the advertisement and a few metres away from Tendulkar, was spotted by a Ten Sports television cameraman, and the network informed the police, who arrested him. Interestingly, Pasha had a BCCI-approved ‘access all areas’ pass and a parking pass.
