CHENNAI, July 5: Around 200 lakes and tanks in TN will be desilted at a cost of Rs 20 crore over two phases, announced the State PWD Minister, Duraimurugan. The first phase that will commence on July 7 will cover 1522 lakes and tanks in the zones of Madurai, Pollachi, Tiruchi and Chennai, he added.
