CHENNAI, Aug. 15: The MDMK has severely critised the Government for allowing the Sterlite plant to resume operation and has decided to go ahead with its proposed siege of the factory on August 30. According to the party general secretary, V Gopalasami, the government has struck a deal with the profit prone multinational company. He also said that the expert panel set up to probe the gas leak did not give due heed to the views of the people.
