Mumbai, April 9: Mumbai teenagers Megha Vakharia and Isha Lakhani moved into the qualifying singles second round of the $³10,000 ITF women’s circuit tennis tournament at the Dr Ranade Tennis Centre on Sunday.

Megha blanked compatriot Sricharanya Thiagarajan 6-0 6-0 while Isha drubbed Kalpita Raje 6-0 6-1.

Vishnupreetam Mahalingam crushed Yuka Hatano of Japan 6-0 6-1 while Lucia Tallo of Switzerland sidelined Rekha Natrajan of India 6-0 6-2 among others to move into the qualifying second round to be played on Monday.

Monday will also witness doubles first round matches while the singles main round will commence from Tuesday.
