MUMBAI, DEC 14: Mumbaite Megha Vakharia claimed a fine double in the Junior ITF (under-14) South Asian 1997 tournament being played at the Rajshahi Tennis Complex, Dhaka, today.

In the singles event, Megha outclassed Helena of Kazakhastan in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0. She alongwith Sasha Abraham of Hyderabad claimed the under-14 doubles crown. In the final they beat the Kazakhastan pair of Helena and Agnel 6-1, 6-2.

India took the under-14 boys singles title as well with P Vishal of Hyderabad beating Shah Zeb Niagi of Pakistan 6-1, 4-6, 6-4.
