Monitoring mechanism to ensure execution of MoUs

To ensure timebound execution of MoUs signed with industrialists, Madhya Pradesh government has set up a monitoring mechanism by appointing nodal officers from every department to facilitate the process, besides working on a software to review progress of the proposed units.

The IT department will develop a software to monitor progress of proposed projects in every department, official sources said today. It was disclosed at a high-level meeting to review progress of MoUs of projects worth Rs 1.20 lakh crore signed during Global Investors summit last month, they said.
