Holiday special trains on WR
The Western Railway has planned 236 summer special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers in the months of April, May, June and July between Mumbai Central and Delhi, Porbandar, Gandhidham and Ahmedabad. Reservations for the Delhi-bound trains will be available on all computerised reservation centres from March 2 onwards.
Training prog in ISO 9000
A five-day training programme on `ISO 9000 and TMQ’ has been organised by the Small Industries Service Institute between March 16 and 20. The programme will provide training by experts and professional faculties on various aspects of ISO 9000 and concepts of TMQ.
WR drive against ticketless travel
The Western Railway detected 1,67,515 cases of ticketlesstravelling and unbooked luggage and collected Rs 164.05 lakh as fine from defaulters since the month of January. 319 cases of transfer of reserved tickets were detected and Rs 1,28,116 realised.
