Eductional kits for poor

* `Sanjeevani’ is launching an educational project to provide educational kits to deserving students. Comprising two school uniforms and exercise notebooks, the kit costs Rs 200. Cheques should be drawn in favour of `Sanjivani’. Donations of Rs 500 and above necessitate the mention of one’s PA number, so as to be exempted from 100 per cent income tax under

section 35-AC of the Income-Tax Act 1961.

Doctors have advised a bone marrow transplantation costing Rs 10 lakhs. The patient’s father is a retired government employee and needs resources for the treatment.
