CHENNAI, Sept 29: The mystery behind the murder and robbery of a housewife at Kodambakkam was solved after nearly two years following the arrest of three youths including a neighbouring. According to Police, Annapoorni, wife of Mr R Sengottaiyan, retired chief engineer of TNEB, wasfound nurdered and robbed in her house.The case remained unsolved for several months,till the police suspected the involvement of Vinod Kumar, son of a former colleague of Sengottaiyan. Vinod used to frequent the victim’s house. To make some quick money he planned the murder and sought the assistance of the two brothers.
