Muslim residents of Dehra Dun have called for a boycott of products from US, UK and Japanese companies in protest against the US-led strikes against Iraq.

Hundreds of Muslims today took out a procession raising anti America and anti-war slogans. Marching through various parts of the city, they burned an effigy of US President George Bush at the Clock Tower here. They also resolved to boycott all consumer and electronic items like soaps, cold drinks, chocolates and medicines manufactured by US, UK or Japanese companies.
