BANGALORE, JAN 18: A ghastly sight greeted ITI students on Sunday morning: They found the severed head of a man inside their hostel compound.The RMC Yard police who rushed to the ITI training institute in Goreguntapalya at 7.30 am, fished out the torso sans arms and legs from a drain. The police also collected the left hand and right leg lying inside the Institute, near Modern Bakery factory. The other parts of the body, including a left leg and right hand, are missing, police added.According to preliminary investigation, the deceased has been identified as Gangarangaiah (50), residing in Kamala Nagar.Police said Gangarangaiah, who had married for a second time, did not have cordial relations with his first wife. He was also involved in a legal battle over the ownership of a site. In the last two days he had not reported for duty.The police suspect that the watchman was murdered in a place not far from the area where the severed head, limbs and torso were found on Sunday.The body has been sentfor post-mortem.
