Stepping up offensive against Union Minister of State for Water Resources Jaiprakash Narain Yadav, the NDA on Monday sought his immediate ouster from the Union government.
“We know that Yadav will not resign on his owns”, state BJP president Sushil Kumar Modi and JD(U) national spokesman Shambhu Nath Srivastava said.

“Though non-bailable warrant of arrest has been issued against Yadav, it is unlikely that Yadav will surrender or the police will be able to arrest him”, Modi said, referring to non-execution of several arrest warrants issued by a Siwan court against RJD MP Mohammed Shahabuddin. “It will be height of immorality if PM allows Jaiprakash to stay as minister”, Srivastava added. —PTI
