PUNE, Nov 16: Neil Mundra, Ketan Dhumal and Kartik Gopalkrishnan of Pune scored upset wins to enter the second round in their respective events at the second leg of the Hero Honda Junior State ranking tennis tournament being played at the PYC tennis courts, Deccan Gymkhana.

Neil Mundra displayed excellent tennis to knock out 5th seed Nilesh Kapoor of Mumbai 8-4, while Ketan Dhumal maintained his good form in the tournament as he knocked out 7th seed Rushang Patel of Mumbai 8-7 (7/5) to enter the pre-quarter-finals in the under 16 event.

Eighth seat of Rohan Dalvi of Pune had to bite the dust as Kartik Gopalkrishna proved too good for him with his strong baseline returns. Kartik won this under 18 event 9-2.
