New Delhi Heroes, coached by Chima Okorie, have a tough draw when they open their encounter against Oil India, Assam in the second division I-League in Kolhapur. The other teams in the group are Mohammedan Sporting, Mumabi FC, Indian Bank and Amity United F C.

Group A will see Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, ONGC Ltd, State Bank of Travancore, Vasco Sports Club, Chirag United from Goa and Pune FC.
