CHENNAI, June 30: The Institute of Hygiene, Public Health and Environment, a part of the ARMA Medical Foundation, an NGO, has framed a new scheme called ‘Nalamigu Chennai’ (Healthy Chennai). This was disclosed by S Ramakrishnan, Health Secretary to the State government. Speaking at a worshop on diagnosis of malarial parasite for medical laboratory technicians, he called for people’s participation in eradicating malaria. He also urged the NGOs to help in the mission.
