MUMBAI, JULY 1: The Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) has finalised the dates for the tour by New Zealand this October-November as well as those for the subsequent visit by South Africa, scheduled in February-March.
The Tests against New Zealand are likely to be held in Ahmedabad/Mumbai, Bangalore and Mohali, as per the rotation formula from October 13-31, according to Board sources.
However, Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is interested in hosting a Test against South Africa and would put in a request to the Board to this effect, according to MCA sources.
The Kiwis are to play a five-match one-day series after the end of the Test series, from November 3-15, besides two tour games before the start of the back-to-back Tests.
No One-Day Internationals are scheduled against South Africa as they are to take part in the Sharjah triangular at the end of their visit along with India and Pakistan.
