Mumbai, March 15: Nikhil Oottam entered the fourth round of the open handicap snooker tournament for Anthony D’Cruz Trophy defeating Kaizad Fitter 67-110, 77-71, 88-53 at the Catholic Gymkhana on Wednesday.
MLWB (NAIGAUM) upset title contenders BEST `A’ 2-1 in the team event of the Mayor’s Cup carrom tournament at the BMC Gymkhana, Azad Maidan to enter the last eight stage, on Wednesday.

Spark.com winners
India will be represented by spark.com in the women’s World Bridge Olympiad, to be held at Amsterdam in August. Fr. Agnel in final
Fr. Agnel, Bandra, entered the final of the Inter-Engineering Football Tournament on Wednesday, when they edged past Thadomal Shahani College of Engineering 1-0 at the St Xavier’s ground, Parel, on Wednesday.
Both sides were locked goalless at half-time. The all-important goal was scored by Danny Mathew. In the final to be played on Thursday, Fr. Agnel will meet Saboo Siddik. The latter beat Fr. Agnel (Vashi) 1-0 in the other semi-final. Akram Khan scored for the winner.
