No screen presence

CPI(M) general secretary Prakash Karat is not the most media-savvy politicos at the best of times. On Friday, he made an almost clandestine visit to Thiruvananthapuram to attend the party state secretariat and managed to return to Delhi without being caught by byte-hungry journalists. He was in Kerala to settle some internal disputes of the party and did not want to talk about it. By the time the media smelled a rat, he was already on his way back to Delhi.
