Milind Soman
This model-turned-actor is Zen about the heat it doesn’t really bother him or get under his skin "As long as I am not wearing much," says the hunk. That sight would send more than temperatures soaring. Soman in the buff could cause a couple of female arteries to explode. Alas! That is not to be.
Right now, Soman is covered from head to toe. He is busy shooting Ketan Mehta’s Captain Vyom in the Killick Nixon factory located in Saki Naka. If the long drive on the Western highway does not kill, the thick leather suit Milind has to wear, as a sci-fi hero, would do in lesser mortals. Luckily, our space age hero is made of sterner stuff and the heat passes over him. However, if he could use his magic powers to transport himself any where, Milind would like to be in Goa. Beam him up Scotty!
Jeto
A T-shirt and lots of Pepsi are Jeto’s tools to keep the heat at bay. He is a singer and the proposition of a sore throat because of aerated water like Pepsi doesn’t bother him. As faras possible he tries to keep within the cool confines of an AC room. "Sometimes during shooting it gets very hot," says Jeto. But he has a simple solution to this tricky problem he takes off his jr punksters costume.
Aly Khan
A theatre and television star, Aly is forced to spend a lot of time outdoors as his shooting schedule is choc-a-bloc, particularly with dates for Yehi Hai Raaz.
He thinks that if you do have to work in the sun, then you should wear next-to-nothing. And his favourite sunblock is a nice pair of sunglasses. But if you are lucky enough to be inside, then you should eat as much pineapple as you can. And Aly loves to wash this down with mugfulls of beer.
The ideal setting for this should be an air-conditioned room. With the perfect view: a Test match with the Indian cricket team on a winning streak.
Neelam Kothari
Having just returned from a shoot in Seychelles, the very tanned Neelam obviously enjoys the sun. Which is why she is thrilled about going to Mauritius forwork. For this bubbly actress and popular television hostess, the scorching heat works like a ray of sunshine lifting her spirits. So when it starts to get hot, Neelam starts to glow. Which is why she has been picked by Sooraj Barjatya for his latest film.
For those who do not know how to have fun in the sun, Neelam has a few words of advice: "Drink a lot of juice and make it a point to swim," she says. The good thing about that is not only does it keep you cool, it also keeps you in bikini-flaunting body shape.
