
Gandhinagar, July 8: The Gujarat legislative assembly would take up for discussion the opposition-sponsored no confidence motion against the four-month old Keshubhai Patel Government tomorrow.
The one line motion, moved by leader of opposition in the assembly, Amarsinh Chaudhary and RJP member Mansinh Chauhan, was admitted by the house on July one.
The issues being raised include government’s failure to tackle recent cyclone, rise of edible oil prices and deterioration of law and order in the state. The Congress, which has 53 members in the 182-member house, was supported by RJP members (four), J D (four) independents (three) and Samajwadi Party (one).
