S.A.S. NAGAR, MARCH 21: Punjab School Education Board has ordered an inquiry into the allegations made by parents from Patiala over there being no uniformity in the five sets of Plus Two papers. A report in this regard was published in Chandigarh Newsline on March 21.
School Board Controller of Exams Jarnail Singh said if it is found that the paper setter has committed irregularities while making the question papers, he would be disqualified and the candidates would be reasonably compensated.
He said the board adopted this policy to curb the menace of copying but some vested interests were criticising it as they were unable to help the students in the exams. "But, the board will continue with this policy and remove the bottlenecks so that the examinees do not face any difficulty," Jarnail Singh said.
