In a fresh hooch tragedy in Karnataka, four persons died and 15 others were hospitalised after drinking the brew during a marriage function at Holalaholli village in the district on Friday. With this, the toll in the series of hooch tragedies that has struck parts of Karnataka and neighbouring Tamil Nadu since Sunday climbed to 174.The incident occurred at the village where the illicit liquor was served after a wedding. Soon after consuming the brew, 19 persons developed complications and four of them died. Fifteen persons were under treatment in a Hassan hospital and the condition of some of them was stated to be critical. The police have arrested liquor vendor Mahesh, who supplied the brew.Meanwhile, Karnataka Police on Friday said six more persons allegedly involved in supply of illicit liquor had been arrested.While three main suppliers of the killer brew, Syed Asghar, Syed Kadir and Imtiaz, all natives of Bailanarasapura, the place where the brew was manufactured, were arrested in Kolar district on Friday, three vendors of the brew were arrested in Bangalore Rural district on Friday.
