NEW DELHI, January 11: National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) won the All India Power Sector Table Tennis Tournament for the third successive year by winning all their matches at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium here.Captained by former Uttar Pradesh, NTPC won all their three matches and defeated Nathpa Jhakri Power Corporation (NJPC) 3-1. Neeco got the third position in team events.In the individual events, K Chandrasekhar of NTPC beat P Hazarika of Neepco 21-16, 22-20, 21-13 in the final. B Chandra (NTPC) beat his colleague A R Siddiqi 17-21, 21-7, 21-7 to determine the third and fourth positions.In the team final, NTPC defeated NJPC 3-1 (K Chandrasekhar bt Rakesh Bansal 21-7, 23-21; B Chandra bt Anil Kumar 21-19, 21-18; A R Siddiqi lost to Lalit Verma 23-21, 19-21, 15-21; K Chandrasekhar bt Anil Kumar 21-10, 21-9).
