CHENNAI, June 18: The over-100-year-old office building of the Director-General of Police (DGP) is being repaired and renovated at a cost of Rs 1.35 crore, and the work is expected to be completed by the end of this fiscal year. A proposal for constructing a three-storeyed building as an annexe, in the sprawling open space behind this building, is also being considered.
