PANCHKULA, Sept 27: The Pinjore police station has booked a resident of Himachal Pradesh for duping a Pinjore resident of Rs 2,50,000.

According to police sources, the case has been registered following a complaint by Ramnath, a resident of Chicken village in Pinjore. He alleged that a person by the name of Joga Singh, a resident of Solan, had taken a sum of Rs 2,50,000 from him on an agreement that Joga Singh would arrange to send him abroad. the complainant said his money was not returned even as no arrangements were for his departure.

The Pinjore Police have registered a case under sections 406 and 420 of IPC and further investigations are on.
