While UNPA leaders kept away from the function organised to release L K Advani’s autobiography, INLD leader Om Prakash Chautala was present. It so happened that while all the UNPA leaders were invited to the function, it was only Chautala, who was part of the erstwhile NDA, who ‘insisted’ on attending the programme. Fearing that this would expose fissures in the UNPA, especially after Jayalalithaa moved closer to the BJP, the formation was quick to let out that the INLD was representing the entire UNPA at the function.
