One held for attack on church

PATHANAMTHITTA, JAN 12: The Aranmula police today arrested a youth in connection with the attack on Emmanuel Mar Thoma Church, Cherukol, near Kozhencherry, recently. According to the parish priest, Reverend G Daniel, Manoj (19) had trespassed on the church compound last night. Several rows of the tiled roof of the church were found destroyed.

When contacted, Aranmula S I Krishna Kumar told The Indian Express that the police had registered a case against the accused for criminal trespassing and mischief under Sections 447, 427 and 34 (IPC). Police are on the lookout for his accomplice, Sasi (29).
