Saudi terrorist Osama bin Laden is hiding in northern Pakistan guarded by a 120-mile ring of tribesmen whose job is to warn if troops approach the area, The Guardian reported on Saturday.

The paper quoted Mansoor Ijaz, a financier who has spent years tracking Laden, as saying that Laden fled the mountains in Afghanistan for Pakistan.

Yet failing to catch the Saudi now could embolden the surviving Al Qaeda forces. ‘‘That’s why Pakistan must now end the charade and get Bin Laden,’’ said Mansoor Ijaz.
