Having failed to gatecrash into the UP Assembly after parting ways with old friend Mulayam Singh Yadav, Beni Prasad Verma—who damaged Mulayam’s chances in the state—is now shying away from confronting the Samajwadi Party chief face to face. Verma is taking all precautions to avoid chance meetings with the former UP chief minister so much so that he left the house of deceased former prime minister Chandra Shekhar in a big hurry. Apparently he spotted Mulayam’s security personnel and deduced his friend-turned-foe was around.
