Chennai, Jan 2: World No 1 doubles player Leander Paes (India), who is partnering Byron Black (Zimbabwe) in the absence of Mahesh Bhupathi, will meet Sander Groen (Netherlands)/ Laurence Tieleman (Italy) in the doubles pre-quarterfinals of the Gold Flake Open tomorrow.
Paes has won the doubles here three times with Bhupathi. It remains to be seen whether he can make it four in a row. Partner Black is an excellent doubles player, and has won a Grand Slam title with Jonathan Stark (US).
