Pak has plutonium, Chinese help still on: US

Chinese companies continue to provide assistance to Pakistan in its nuclear and missile programme and the nation has some amount of plutonium, Vice Admiral Lowell E. Jacoby, US Navy Director, Defence Intelligence Agency, told the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

Jacoby in his report also said the US, which was within range of only Russian intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) will soon come under Chinese, North Korean and Iranian ICBMs.

India and Pakistan, said Admiral Jacoby, ‘‘have well developed nuclear infrastructures”
