PDP zonal president Ghulam Rasool Bhat was shot dead by Harkat-ul-Mujahideen militants outside his house at Watlar-Ganderbal, 35 km from here, on Saturday night. The militants forced their entry into Bhat’s house and after taking dinner with him, asked him to accompany them outside and sprayed bullets on him, he said.
In another incident, militants shot dead SPO Ghulam Hassan Bhat at Kulgam in Anantnag on Sunday. —PTI
