NEW DELHI, Nov 26: Jeev Milkha Singh will be the topic of all discussions when the Siel-Honda PGA Golf tournament commences at the Amry Golf Course tomorrow. But whether or not he will figure among the starters is a question that remained unanswered till late this evening.

The news from Costa del Sol, Spain , is that he has left for Delhi. But the PGAI itself has no confirmation from Jeev.

The net result: Jeev’s name does not figure in the draw released late in the evening. As one of the PGAI officials said: “We have no news. But if he does turn up, we will have to decide and it is possible that he can be included with two amateurs.”

If Jeev does turn up, it will be a moment of great pride for Indian golf, as the field will include two golfers of Indian origin who will play on the EPGA next season. The other one of course, is Daniel Chopra, who was 51st in the Volvo rankings this year. Chopra, who learnt all his golf in Delhi, has taken up Swedish citizenship, but still makes it a point to play the tournament, because Siel happen to be his Indian sponsors.
