
CHANDIGARH, Feb 25: On the third day of the strike of pharmacy students, a compromise was reached upon in a meeting of the students with Vice-Chancellor M.M. Puri here late this evening. According to PUCSC president D.P.S. Randhawa, the Vice-Chancellor has agreed that 60 per cent seats in M.Pharm will be reserved for the B.Pharm graduates of Panjab University.
The students were demanding that 80 per cent of the seats be reserved and were on a protest dharna outside the V-C’s office for the past three days.
