CHENNAI, July 30: A writ petition has been made in the Madras High Court to declare the examination conducted by 71 teacher training insititutes (TTIs) in the State as null and void as they have not obtained recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education. The petitioner, r thigarajan of suriyacode in Kaniyakumari district also made a representation to the NCTE for provision of qualified staff and space. However, so far no action has been taken.
