BELGAUM, January 18: The All India Konkani Parishad has urged the Goa Government to popularise the Konkani language and implement its status as an official language. The 22nd session of the Parishad also urged the Maharashtra Government to set up a Konkani Academy and help in the construction of a Konkani Bhavan in Mumbai.
