“These papers have been cancelled on the recommendation of the flying squad that confirmed the reports of mass cheating at these centres,” Controller of Examination, PSEB, Jarnail Singh said.

“The flying squad found that chits and books had been used at these centres. Even teachers were found helping students to cheat. The Board is considering action against the teachers held guilty and is likely to disqualify them from examination duty in future,” Jarnail Singh said. "We will send these cases to Director Public Instructions, Schools, Punjab for further action," he added.

Meanwhile, the new date and venue for the exams will be decided by the board soon.
