After the Tamizhan channel to trumpet the PMK’s achievements, party MP Dhanaraju has started an office-on-wheels to stay in constant touch with his Tindivanam constituency.

The door-to-door campaign comes amid speculation that the party is likely to snap ties with the DMK — its ally in the Lok Sabha elections.

His office, in a tempo, is equipped with electronic gadgets — including a mini public address system, a small screen projector and a laptop.

While Dhanaraju denied that his office had anything to do with the state elections, another ally, the MDMK, has also hit the roads.

MDMK chief Vaiko had started his people-to-people contact campaign last month. He too, it is learnt, is unhappy with the high-handed behaviour of the DMK.
