JODHPUR, OCT 24: Comedian Satish Shah has been asked to approach the additional district and sessions court for anticipatory bail in the controversial poaching case after a city court refused to entertain his plea in this regard.
District and sessions judge D N Joshi, before whom the anticipatory bail application was moved yesterday, directed Shah to move his application before the court of additional district and sessions judge on October 27.
A local police team is already in Mumbai to arrest Shah, one of the co-accused in the case of poaching blackbucks and cinkaras, protected wild animals, near here last month. Film actor Salman Khan, the main accused, and four other co-accused have already been granted bail.
Meanwhile, district judicial magistrate Laxmi Datt Kiradu yesterday granted permission to Tabu to leave India for a film shooting in South Africa.
