Poll expenses Bill tabled in LS

A Bill, that makes it mandatory for political parties to declare before the Election Commission contributions beyond Rs 20,000, was introduced in the Lok Sabha today.

The Bill requires political parties to declare contributions from companies or individuals and states that the travel expenses of party leaders cannot be clubbed with poll expenditure.
