With the Government apparently not responding to its demand for a UN probe into the killing of Benazir Bhutto, her husband Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday said the Pakistan People’s Party will directly approach the world body on Wednesday.Zardari, who was here to meet investigators from Britain’s Scotland Yard probing Bhutto’s killing, told a news conference that the PPP would stick to its demand for an inquiry by the United Nations despite the government ruling out such a probe.“The PPP will never give up on its demand and will despatch its complaint directly to the UN . Simultaneously, the party will launch a massive campaign to explain why a UN-led inquiry is necessary,” he said. “The more the regime runs away from a UN probe, the more it exposes its complicity,” he said.
